Round Wall Clocks

Maybury 19 1/2" Maple Round Wall ClockAntique Washed Wood 24" Wide Outdoor Wall ClockArbor II 21" Round Light Wood Wall Clock

This kitchen style, with its mix of crisp white and earthy woods is reflective of Atlanta-based designer Amy D. Morris penchant for transitional design showcasing fresh, clean elements. The oversize wood clock is a perfect match with the rustic wood beams, which give this subway-tiled kitchen a little soul.

The maple Maybury clock has a similar color palette, with hints of red tone and straightforward black numbers. It would work well in any transitional style kitchen with wood elements, like maple cabinetry. For a rustic-meets-industrial kitchen, like one you might find in a converted factory loft, we like the antique washed wood clock for it’s patina. Plus, the Roman numerals add a days of yesteryear feel. For a contemporary kitchen with sleek cabinetry, try the Arbor II clock. The pale wood face gives the minimalist design a new spin.

Digital Clocks

Charlotte, a interior designer, stylist, shop owner, and the blogger behind interiors blog Blackbird, lends a peek at her distinctly Swedish style kitchen, which was featured in Swedish shelter mag GP Home. The white square tile with black grout has the feel of a utilitarian public restroom, but is nevertheless utterly charming. The black digital calendar clock heightens the no-nonsense, modernist effect.

The black metal Malik clock, complete with digital readout with time, date and temperature information, has brushed nickel detailing that contrast nicely with its black face. Try it in a white kitchen with of-the-moment matte black fixtures. The Howard Miller Techtime III LED clock works on the wall or a table, and resets itself by receiving a signal from the cesium atomic clock—the most accurate clock in the world. Its two tone Americana Cherry and satin silver finish lends itself to transitional and warm modern spaces punctuated with wood.

Minimal Wall Clocks

Whether your kitchen is Scandinavian-inspired or the most pristine contemporary, these minimalist clocks will work without distraction. The gray and white modern clock offers a not often seen color scheme, the brushed gray clock has just dashes inside it’s thick frame, and the Decomates retro clock uses a more neutral palette, with an off white face and bronze detailing.

Multicolor Wall Clocks

Talk about pops of color. This kitchen’s got it going on. From the playful multicolor clock, to the interior finish of the island pendants, to the counter stools, and polka dot mugs, there’s no shortage of fun in this sleek white space. In reality, all most people might need for color is the clock!

Clocks like these help incorporate a playful element into the kitchen. The sky blue and white Decomates clock is a fresh addition if you want to add just a hint of personality and color, while the Bulova clock on the end, which is inspired by a Frank Lloyd Wright typeface, uses every color in the rainbow. The Howard Miller Ball clock in the middle, a reproduction of an iconic style designed by George Nelson, may be all black, but the shape always makes us smile.

Retro Wall Clocks

A freestanding mint green stove is an attention grabber in any kitchen, even when there are furry animals around. It’s an interesting mix with sturdy cabinetry, reminiscent of the arts and crafts style. Green cookware and clock keep the color scheme going.

A retro metal clock like these are cute in any color. The easy to read numbers, each punctuated with a red dot, works well in a kid’s room, or, as in the kitchen shown above, high up on the wall. Work it into a throwback kitchen with a Smeg in the same color, if you’re that lucky.

This homey kitchen is home to a true cook. The oversize clock with Roman numerals is the focal point for the wall with the table. Its eclectic style blends perfectly with the wood island, stainless professional range and hood, gray tiled floor, and pots of utensils at the ready.

The stylized design of the open fret-cut wrought-iron Howard Miller Postema clock would be an elegant, but subtle addition to a sophisticated kitchen. The Daimon clock provides an almost schoolhouse clock aesthetic with an Old World feel, thanks to the Roman numbering, and would be bested suited to a classic white kitchen with straightforward finishes. The Howard Miller Pierre clock is more of a statement piece, with its individual antique white panels. Its design is suited for a farmhouse kitchen or one with an industrial aesthetic.
