 The Modern Man Cave

The modern man cave is not about upgrading to a larger TV or painting over the paneling, rather, it’s about creating a space that your man loves and that doesn’t horrify you or the rest of your family. True, most man caves are subterranean and sport beer collectibles, but it doesn’t need to stay that way forever.

Masculine Decor for the Modern Man Cave

If done well your upstairs family room or even living room can become a chic man cave. Masculine decor can look simply modern, even if there are discernible feminine touches such as a classic chandelier like the specimen found over the black pool table!

Simple white sheers on the window and contemporary wall decor can always be used to counter the masculine lines of the TV and media stand. Harmony, isn’t it grand?

A great place to start if you are thinking about redecorating the ole man cave is mid-century design. It’s manly but also trendy which appeals to almost everybody. So, the next time your man brings up the topic of his Neanderthal needs, your response should not be no, but when do we start?
