A Traditional and Clutter Free Bath Vanity

I love a good clean out at new year which includes creating clutter free bathroom cabinets. It’s amazing how bathrooms fill up with expired cosmetics, mini hotel soaps and endless half used products that for some reason you thought smelled great in the store.

Decor Pad had inspiring bathrooms that were what I aspire to when I think about a cleaner version of my bathroom. There are some great and inexpensive ways to freshen up your bath once you tackle tossing the unwanted bits.

Chic Bathrooms with Clean Styled Cabinetry

We all need bathroom vanities but they should offer ample storage so that you can maintain a clean sink and counter surface. I think starting the day by not seeing clutter is a good thing. Heaven knows seeing my rapidly aging face is plenty enough to deal with before coffee.

All of these bathrooms have closed bathroom cabinetry which I think works best, especially if you don’t have additional storage elsewhere. Obviously you know best your storage needs. The goal should be to keep things clean on the counter.

Don’t forget decorative bathroom vanity lights which should compliment the bathroom style. Like storage, the right lights are critical for bathroom function. I’m fascinated by the middle image that used hanging pendants where one would normally install sconces.

Stylish Gold Bathroom Accents

While these bathrooms feature great bathroom storage I was more interested in how the right fixtures could create a diversion away from unwanted bathroom necessities.

Bold brass and gold decor really pops on crisp white walls, and that also goes for designer bathroom mirrors. My eye immediately was drawn to the lights, mirrors and fixtures, not the soaps, swabs and other bathrooms basics.

Here are some stylish ways to breathe new life into your bathroom.

Chrome and Brass Bathroom Fixtures from Lamps Plus

1. I like the simplicity and slight decor feel of this nickel wall sconce by Robert Abbey.

2. Create a vintage feel with the Gatsby mini pendant in brass by Hinkley.

3. The Muses Collection decorative wall sconce offers crisp yet traditional styling.

4. This dark antique brass sconce by Feiss defines on-point urban lighting.

5. Create visual interest with the fresh looking Abscissa chevron wall mirror.

6. I think the Cooper Classics Liam gold wall mirror is a must for forward thinking design fans.
