Floral Inspired Lamps

Spring is a perfect time to think about floral inspired lamps and The Pink Pagoda had beautiful pictures that will get you in a decidedly spring mood! There are many ways to introduce floral patterns into a space. From pillows and wallpaper to bedding and lamps, floral motifs are always cheerful and timeless and need not be a permanent design feature. Floral designed lamps can be moved around the house and are an inexpensive way to create the look of fresh flowers with a more lasting affect.

Green Table Lamps

Green is the color of nature and thus goes well with almost every other color and pattern. Ceramic table lamps that feature green foliage and pretty flowers embodies the essence of spring and are perfect in traditional living rooms and more feminine bedrooms.

1. The Flowers and Birds Porcelain Vase Table Lamp is feminine but not precious. I love it in a bedroom.

Floral Ceramic Lamps

Naturally, pink is probably the most feminine color but it can be used in such a way that it reads modern. Going super-bold like in the outrageous wallpaper above, or in a contemporary geometric patterns may even convert a real guy’s guy.

2. I like the Floral Jar Porcelain Table Lamp in a guest room or classic front hall.

Blue and White Lighting

Classic blue and white ginger jar lamps are as time-honored in design as hot dogs are to a good old American baseball game. Blue and white decor looks great in all seasons and has its roots in 18th century design, stemming from trade with the East. These images show that using blue and white can get a coastal look or sophisticated city look as seen in the upper left picture.

3. You can’t go wrong with the Blue and White Floral Porcelain Temple Jar Table Lamp.

Wrought Iron Lighting

Floral lamps don’t need to be ceramic. Metal table lamps can also evoke the look of a garden reminding us of traditional wrought iron garden furniture, clever!

4. The Saint Louis Heights Antique White Table Lamp has a sculptural shape that makes it unique and would be beautiful in a sunroom or on a dining room buffet.
